I met Karen many many years ago when I was just 13 as we both sat in 1F in St Dominics. Karen recently got in contact and asked me to visit her partner Nadine’s parents house in Armagh for a family photoshoot with her Mum, Dad, sister & two kids.
When we arrived at Nadine’s parents house I was absolutely in awe with how picturesque it was. The initial plan was to do the family shoot around different trees, around the swings etc. The house was set on acres of land and was full of character - there was fire logs, old tyres coming off trees used as swings, old garages with an antique beetle, lots of trees & nature etc which were all fabulous so of course I had to incorporate these into the shoot.
This is Nadine, Karen and their two beautiful children Nisha & Josie - they are such a beautiful, fun & friendly family.
Nisha & Josie were super fun to photograph as they were so full of adventure. They were two dream children to photograph.
Meet Nadine’s Mum & Dad - The heart of the family. These two are very much in love many years later as you can see from the photographs.
Nadine’s Dad was one of the biggest characters I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Throughout this photoshoot I wanted to capture him with lots of his equipment and big boy toys - he had tractors, quads, an old garage with a half repaired beetle.
This is Nadine’s sister Nadia on one of the Dad’s quads. Nadia has the best relationship with Nisha & Josie - she truly is an adoring auntie.
As the day continued, we captured some beautiful shots & very special moments.
