You’re the One

Grace & Peter have been together nearly 10 years. They met in Liverpool while Grace was training to be a drama teacher in the school where Peter already taught Music. Apart from Peter’s distinct Fermanagh accent, Grace fell in love with Peter straight way when she heard him sing. They started getting to know each other better, socialising with friends and going out on dates and they both just knew they’d found the one. Then in July 2019 in London Peter popped the question and proposed, Grace said YES more than once! After thankfully, only one postponed wedding due to covid in 2021, they finally got their dream wedding day this year.

Grace and the girls all got ready from her Mum’s home in Banbridge on the morning of the wedding. It was a great atmosphere all morning - the girls enjoyed a delicious wedding breakfast made by JeanieBells to get them all fuelled up for the day ahead before getting all glammed up. The fabulous Mary Maguire created a beautiful upstyle and accessorised it with a beautiful pearl head piece created by Aimee Farrell Designs. The talented Fiona Murphy created this flawless makeup look which made the bride look radiant and glowing.

Grace went for pearl accessories to compliment her dress. She choose the most stunning shoes from Jimmy Choo and a pearl head piece from Aimee Farrell Designs. Pearls are the ultimate classic and feminine detail.

Grace also styled her look with some beautiful jewellery, she had a luxurious bracelet from Tiffany & Co and tasteful earrings from The Dress House.

This gorgeous pillow was in memory of Grace’s Great Grandfather Matt using one of his shirts. He sadly passed away last September at the age of 98. Grace spoke about her Great Grandfather so highly, ‘He was the most amazing man I have ever met, my world, a true gentleman and he just loved Peter!’ He was remembered throughout the day; in the prayers, the speeches and even a photo of him pulling a pint of Guinness was placed front and centre as you entered the ballroom in Cabra Castle.

Grace purchased her dress from Pronovia’s - It was a ballgown style dress with a sweetheart bodice and a one shoulder sleeve. This is the perfect dress for a grand entrance to your special day. It was so regal and royal with a modern twist.

Peter and the boys stayed at The Flagstaff Lodge in Newry the night before the wedding, so this is where we met up with them on the morning of Peter’s big day to photograph them.

SD Kells

The groomsmen wore stunning navy three piece suits from SD Kells styled with black patent shoes. The groom choose an alternative blazer choice to the boys and went with a stunning grey instead.

The bridesmaid looked absolutely magnificent in their powder blue dressed created by Emma Murnion. The dresses had a square neckline with a floor length satin drape on the back. Flower girl Connie had a beautiful knee length dress with a cute bow on the back and pearl details. My niece is getting married later this year and my dream was to have something made by Emma Murnion Design. Unfortunately this year is the craziest year in wedding history with all the rescheduling and Emma was booked up long time in advance. Her bespoke designs are always stunning.

Grace and Peter were married in Church of the Sacred Heart, Cloghogue. The music throughout the ceremony was by one of my our past brides - Singer Fiona Flynn, Cellist Clíodhna McAteer & Pianist Judith Quinn - They created the most beautiful music throughout.

Grace’s brother Jamie had the honour of walking Grace down the aisle on her special day.

Our beautiful newly weds Mr & Mrs Quinn - an absolutely fabulous couple.

You can always depend on The Flower Barrow to create the most beautiful bouquets, arch ways and any other floral detail you can imagine for your wedding day.

Grace and Peter made their journey to Cabra Castle for their wedding celebrations in a Classic 1960’s Rolls Royce Cloud from I Do Wedding Cars. Cabra Castle is one of the leading luxury hotels in Ireland. The work landscaping and work that has been complete on the castle over the past few years has just given more wedding picture options to an already bountiful of potential images.

Cabra Castle is full of old-world elegance and style. Their hand-painted ceilings and collection of exquisite antiques, offer a unique setting in which one can get lost in the moment. This makes for great surroundings and backgrounds for photographing.

Grace and Peter are in awe of each other. These simple looks show just how much they love each other - they are truly besotted.

Carmel Flynn created a sleek and elegant three tier wedding cake with floral detail - it looked so grand. Grace and Peter also cut their cake in style with a sword which is one of the traditions of Cabra Castle.

Grace & Peter hit the dance floor for their first dance and their wedding band The Professional kept everyone entertained. You can always guarantee you will have a great night when these five are playing. Her entrance to the first dance reminded me of Grace Kelly - I can surely see a resemblance in some of the images.
