Hollywood Glamour Wedding

Hollywood Glamour Wedding

The theme of this wedding was definitely vintage elegance and bride Clare matched this with her 1950's Hollywood glamour style. Clare's fabulous hair was created by the uber talented Mary Maguire and make up was matched perfectly by Tara Doran. Clare also wore a lace dress from Perfect Day in Lurgan teamed up with a lace veil and Benjamin Adams shoe.

The girls bouquets were very delicate and soft to match the vintage theme. The floral bouquets were all designed by K McC Flowers.

At the same time preparations were also underway over at groom Brendan's house were the boys wore navy suits from McCartan Bro's Newry. The one word I can use for this groom was 'Mischievous', he had an amazing sense of humour and had everyone laughing all day with his funny attitude and his demonstrative poses for the photographs.   Once ready the boys then made their way to St. Mary's of the Sea Church in Rostrevor.

Clare arrived at the Church and had the pleasure of brother John walking her down the aisle following his daughter as flower girl and her bridesmaids. The ceremony was said by Father Kearns and accompanied by Niall Donnelly Music.

Even during the mass, Brendan had the congregation in stitches when she said "I Do" - with a big whoo hoo - the crowd laughed and cheered him on.

St. Mary's is a beautiful Church so while the guests mingled we got some photographs .

We then headed to the front shore of Rostrevor and got some shots of the bridal party.   We had to peel the sunglasses off Brendan for some of the shots but the banter was great craic and everyone put on their best pose in front of the stunning views in the background.  I think you can tell from these pictures how fun the bridal party were. They were out to celebrate and have a good time.   Across the road was  Rostrevor Monument  and we grabbed a few shots there before heading on.  This is home to  Brendan and Clare and I always think that the photographs should incorporate your story where possible and this little part of the world is their story and what a beautiful one it is.

After Rostrevor we headed to Flagstaff Viewpoint, this spot is breathtaking and beautiful for wedding photographs with Carlingford Lough and the Mourne Mountains in the background.

These have to be my favourite shots of the day, the first two capture the elegant feel of the wedding and the last captures the 'mischievous nature' of Brendan

Clare and Brendan then traveled in their vintage style wedding car supplied by I Do Wedding Cars NI to their reception which was held at the Carrickdale Hotel.  The grounds of the Carrickdale Hotel are also perfect for wedding photography so you can say we were spoilt for choice at this wedding for photographs.  The blooms were out, the colours amazing and it was the perfect spot for the family shots.

The couple's beautiful room styling was by the amazing and talented Martina Crilly from Creative Designs.  Martina has so many ideas and her attention to detail can be seen at her weddings.   The room styling was the pefect backdrop for the wedding cake by M&M Cakes. The guests were then entertained for the night by The Edition Wedding Band, and we are sure the bridal party danced the night away.
